Wire nodes together and one node's output flows into the next node's input — that is a workflow. This chapter covers connection rules and how to tidy up, group and run a whole group.

Connection rules

• Connect: drag from one node's output port to another node's input port;
• Single-slot replace: most input ports take one connection at a time; a new one auto-replaces the old (to swap a reference image, just drag a new connection — no need to disconnect first);
• Disconnect: right-click the node or use Disconnect all in the toolbar to remove every connection at once.

Tidy up and group

• Auto-layout: ⇧⌥F (Shift+Alt+F on Windows) rearranges nodes so connections read cleaner; you can also pick Optimize workflow layout from the right-click menu;
• Group: marquee-select several nodes and press ⌘/Ctrl + G; a toolbar appears above the group frame;
• Ungroup: ⌘/Ctrl + Shift + G; Batch download: the group toolbar can download all results at once.

Run group and storyboard groups

• Run group: runs every generatable node in the group in connection order, driving the whole chain in one click;
• Convert to storyboard group: available only when the group is all image nodes (⌘/Ctrl + Alt + G); the toolbar then switches to ratio, grid count, index toggle, resolution, and Stitch (combine the group's images into one big picture).

Save as a reusable workflow

After grouping some nodes, the group toolbar's Add to toolbox saves the group as a reusable workflow (node structure and config only, not the actual results). Find it later under the left toolbar's Toolbox → My workflows and click Send to canvas to reinsert it. The Official templates tab in the Toolbox holds the product's ready-made workflows.
