Text nodes
A text node holds words: your own ideas and prompts, or text produced or reverse-engineered by AI. It often serves as upstream input for image and video generation.
What they are for
Text plays two roles on the canvas: as a prompt or script wired into a downstream image / video node to shape its generation; and as the product of a text-generation task in its own right (AI continuation or rewriting).
Create and generate
- From the Add node menu choose Text to create a text-generation node, then type or let the AI continue / rewrite;
- Wire a text node's output into an image / video node and its words merge with that node's own prompt to shape the run;
- What you type by hand in a text node is never machine-translated — it stays exactly as written.

Prompt from image and speech to text
Two more node types also produce text, created from a neighbor's "+" under the Text category:
- Prompt from image: reverse-engineer a prompt that describes a picture, handy for reuse or tweaking;
- Speech to text: extract words from a piece of audio.
Both are paid generation, and you see the credit estimate when you create them too.
